Trojan Football Secures Victory Over Warrior Run In Playoffs

On Friday November 7th the Troy Trojans football team conquered the Warrior Run Defenders at Defender stadium. Troy came out strong in the first then the Defenders stalled the Trojan Offensive but ultimately fell under the Trojan boot.

Trojans Fall To Southern Columbia in Girls Soccer

On Saturday November first the Troy lady Trojans faced off against the Central Columbia lady Bluejays on the soccer field competing for the 2025 AA district title. However, the lady Trojans were unable to find a crack in the Lady Bluejay defense finishing their season in second place of the district 4 AA playoffs.

Wellsboro Defeats North Penn-Mansfield in the 2025 Morton F. Jones Memorial Trophy Game

On Friday October 24th the North Penn-Mansfield Panthers hosted the Wellsboro Hornets on the Gridiron in island park for the Morton F Jones Memorial Trophy game. It was senior night for the Panthers and members of the band and cheer squad were recognized before the game started. The hornets went on to dominate both sides of the ball coming out on top 48-10

Wellsboro Boys Defeats Loyalsock in First Round of Soccer Playoffs

On Wednesday October 22nd the Wellsboro boys soccer team hosted the Loyalsock lancers in their first round of district playoffs. The game went into double overtime with the hornets ultimately coming out on top 2-1.

Wellsboro Dominates Senior Night with 55-8 Rout Over Northwest

The Wellsboro Hornets gave their fans a Senior Night to remember on Friday, unleashing a first-half scoring storm that buried the Northwest Area Rangers, 55-8. By halftime, the scoreboard already told the story — 55 unanswered points — as the Hornets controlled every inch of the field in a statement win.
