Towanda Tops Lady Tigers, 6-1
On Tuesday, October 10 the North Penn-Mansfield Lady Tigers hosted the Towanda Black Knights on the soccer field at Smythe Park.
With 33 minutes remaining in the first half, the Tigers’ Madalyn Morgan lines up for a free kick – sends it upfield in the box – and Brooke Wilcox slid and redirected the ball into the opposite side of the net, starting the Tigers with the lead 1-0.
For the rest of stoppage Towanda kept the pressure on, getting the ball to the back of the net 6 times on the night. This concluded the game with a final score, 6-1, Towanda.
The Lady Tigers will be back on the field again at Williamson High School this Saturday, October 14.
