Questioning Life – What should we make of suffering?

Questioning Life – What should we make of suffering?

uffering is incidental to life. However, how we respond to suffering is largely up to us. Some deal with suffering by trying to avoid its effect, thus suppressing it in unhealthy ways. Others, like those in some ancient cultures and some today, seek after pain. Christ enters our suffering and redeems it.

Can God help us every day?

“I got this,” is a common phrase many of us say. It implies that we can get this or that done without any help from others. Truth be told, most of us need help, some of us are willing to admit it. The law of God, revealed in such forms as the Ten Commandments, tells us what we need to do.
