Where Is The World Going?
We all long for a better home. Where is the world going? Will things get better? Worse? Or is this all there will ever be? Are all our efforts for goodness and justice just striving against the wind?
God is working all things for the good, according to his glorious plan of redemption. Speaking of things to come, the Apostle John said, “Then I saw ‘a new heaven and a new earth,’ for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband (Rev 21:1-2).”
