Williamson Soccer Tops Wellsboro In NTL Opener
On Tuesday, August 29, the Wellsboro Varsity Boys Soccer team hosted Williamson High School for their NTL opener.
Williamson hit the ground running within the first 3 minutes of the game, scoring first, hitting the lower right side net. Both teams held a stalwart defense until the Warriors scored once more in the half, putting them up 2-0.
Wellsboro kept in the fight. 15 minutes left in the game, David Seeling dishes the pass up to Micaiah Fitch, ran it over center to score.
Williamson held strong the rest of the game, claiming the victory, 2-1.
The Wellsboro Boys Soccer team will be in action again tomorrow as they travel to Northeast Bradford.
