On Thursday, January 18 The North Penn-Liberty Mounties wrestling team hosted the Canton Warriors.

North Penn Liberty started out the night as Brayden Pequignot pinned Joe Lunar at 121. Then at 127 Warrior Tommy Preston defeated Trinity Robinson. Next at 133 Carson Rockwell pinned Brady Bower.

Ryland Sakers at 139 won the next match by forfeit.

Cantons Holden Ward then narrowly put up 3 for the Warriors against Mountie Riley Oakes. Next at 152 Cohen Landis brought down Gabe Bellows. Followed by Ayden Holcomb getting 6 for the Warriors against Ryan Roupp at 160.

Then Hudson Ward pinned Cameryn Caldwell at 172. After that at 189 Moutie Easton Pequinot took 6 defeating Leland Pepper. Micheal Davis then won by Forfeit at 215. Later, at 285 Warrior Mason Harold took 6 against Gaven Roe.

Liberty’s Parker Jackson got another 6 for the Mounties at 107 against Levi Vermilya. Then, to end the night, Lyle Vermiliya got 3 against Bryce Pequinot at 114.

The final score was heavily in the Canton Warriors’ favor, 54 to 16.
