Women In Agriculture Highlights & Interviews
On December 5, throughout the day hundreds of women attended a “Women In Agriculture” event, hosted at the Wellsboro Fireman’s Annex. The free event was held from 9am to 3pm, and featured a variety of keynote speakers and presenters with whom attendees could connect and learn.
Some of these highlights included Hayley Painter of Painterland Sisters, Rachel Courtney of Sugar Mama’s Appalachian Maple, Julie Hess, Wellsboro FFA, and Master Gardners.
The event was organized by the Tioga County Conservation District with the goal of providing a space for women in agriculture to network, share information and enjoy each other’s company.
