Winter Special 2019

by Home Page Staff, Home Page Staff, Home Page Staff - January 31, 2018

Tioga County has been hit with some rather frigid temperatures and a healthy heaping of snow, but there are a variety of ways to spend your time indoors around our area if you don’t feel like braving the cold. Pop’s Culture Shoppe welcomes you to come and play! Purchase a new board game or card game to try with your friends and family, or join in on one of their fun event nights! Warm up and fill up at one of our incredible local restaurants, or curl up with a book at one of our libraries – like the Mansfield Free Library or Green Free Library. If you’re looking for action, exercise at the Tioga County Branch YMCA in Mansfield, or attempt the climbing wall at Mansfield University. If climbing isn’t your thing, roll on over to Maple Lanes in Mansfield for a game of bowling. The Arcadia Theatre is showing a variety of movies – there are many fun titles out now! Catch a flick this evening. At the end of the day, you can always come home and enjoy a relaxing time with friends and family. Come up with something fun to do together!

The snow also makes for a beautiful backdrop. Be sure to watch today’s feature to sample some of the gorgeous wintery scenes of Tioga County. Make sure you bundle up if you outdoors to see it all for yourself! Stay warm, stay safe, and enjoy the season!
