What’s Your Favorite Chocolate Say About You?

by Natalie Himmelberger - February 10, 2023

Over the last six years, a collection of Google searches for Valentine’s Day have proven the Keystone State to be ranked 4th in the most romantic state in the US (for those who were wondering, Virginia seems to have ranked in first place). Isn’t it wonderful to know that in one of our small towns in Pennsylvania, sits a wonderful chocolate shop full of delectable treats? Highland Chocolates may have temporarily shut down their factory for renovations, but they are still able to make their delicious sweets and sell them on Main Street in Wellsboro!

Chocolate is adored for not just the way it tastes, but also for the way it makes us feel. So of course it is no surprise that many psychologists have been able to identify a connection between our choice of chocolate and our personality. A simply internet search will bring up dozes or “quizzes” meant to help you find the ideal bonbon best suited to your character! Erin Roupp, Operations Manager of Highland Chocolates researched the various chocolate flavors, shapes, and fillings that match certain personality types. All “research” is for entertainment purposes and she says, “It’s all meant in good fun!” She encourages everyone to explore and enjoy any confections you enjoy – regardless of what the “research” says.
