Wellsboro Area School District opens for the first day of the fall 2023 school year on Wednesday, August 30. Superintendent Alanna Huck welcomes incoming students, expressing excitement for new opportunities.

“As we begin the new school year, we’re going to be welcoming five teachers to our district,” said Huck. “One of those teachers is going to be teaching…in our brand new health occupations classroom.”

Rock L. Butler Middle School is currently undergoing renovations, and Huck is aware of many of parents concerns.

“[Students] will continue to come to school just like they always have. We will be welcoming them back on day one.”
