LAUNCHING HOME PAGE 4.0
As we begin 2017 we have several announcements that we are very excited to tell you about. First, we have officially established a new parent organization called The Home Page Network. You can find us at TheHomePageNetwork.com and The Home Page Network on Facebook. At this location you will find links to our different Home Page markets and network features including HPN News and Home Page Sports along with our association with Circle W Sports which is operated by our very own Ed Weaver.

During this next year we will be adding HPN Newscasts not only to our Home Page sites but also on Blue Ridge Cable Channel 13. But, our really big news today… is that we would like to welcome Mansfield Home Page as our first addition to The Home Page Network. That’s right, MansfieldHomePage.com is now available along with Mansfield Home Page on Facebook.

ATTICS, BASEMENTS & SECRET PLACES – SHERWOOD
The Sherwood Motel, located within walking distance of Wellsboro’s finest shops, restaurants, and attractions, is the perfect place for your family vacation or a romantic getaway. Their 42 non-smoking, spacious, and comfortable rooms feature cable TV with HBO, individual heat and air conditioning controls, free Wi-Fi, microwaves, mini refrigerators, and more. No matter which accommodations you’re searching for, The Sherwood Motel seeks to provide a large variety of quality rooms and services.

Home Page correspondents, Johanna Vogt and Lauren Gooch spoke with co-owner, Marsha Chesko about the history of The Sherwood Motel. In 1886, Walter Sherwood, a lawyer with Owlet & Sherwood, built the house that is now the Sherwood Motel, and owned it until the early 1950s. It was a boarding house until the West Family bought it in 1951 and turned it into a motel. In 2003, Bob and Marsha Chesko renovated the rooms. For almost 14 years, they have continued to serve their guests.
