Wellsboro High School Honors Principal Byrd With Surprise Ceremony
WELLSBORO – On Monday, May 8, all of the students and faculty at Wellsboro High School gathered in the gym to surprise Principal Jeremy Byrd.
Special education teacher Ashley Lovejoy introduced the event. This week is Teacher Appreciation Week and Wellsboro Area High School chose to initiate the week with this recognition ceremony.
During the ceremony, the students presented Principal Byrd with a gift – a box containing notes expressing their appreciation for the principal.
Superintendent Alanna Huck also recognized Mr. Byrd and the teachers of the high school for their outstanding service.
Congratulations to Mr. Byrd and all of the teachers at Wellsboro High School.
