Football season is finally upon us and the Wellsboro Hornets are ready to take the field tonight against the Cowanesque Valley Indians.
Kickoff is at 7:00pm at the Wellsboro Community Athletic Complex at Wellsboro Area High School.

With the new season come some new changes for the Hornets.

“I think one of the biggest differences, we bring in so many seniors this year…we have a lot of leadership,” said Coach Hildebrand in today’s video feature interview. “Last year I think maybe we lacked some leadership on the field during games. We really had some adversity and things like that. I really don’t suspect we’ll have that issue this year with so many seniors on the field every Friday night. Last year we were pretty successful at 8-3, so I think one of the biggest things we’re looking to change is that three more wins.”
