Wellsboro Comic Con Announces Kid-Centric Activity Locations
The second annual Wellsboro Comic Con will be held August 12-13, 2023. Attendees of this family-friendly event will be able to enjoy a myriad of activities related to comics, movies, books, tv shows, pop culture and more.
Many of these activities will be especially entertaining for children and families. Some of them including the following at specific locations around Wellsboro.
Project VR Escape Room will be located on the 3rd floor of the Deane Center. This on-site virtual reality escape room is perfect for individuals and small groups.
First Presbyterian Church will be hosting a cosplay repair station and “make a mask” activity on their front lawn.
The Gmeiner Art & Cultural Center will feature foamsmithing projects and supplies, courtesy of Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Makerspace.
The Green Free Library will have a crafting table for kids and families to enjoy.
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will host a number of activities, including a drop-in-drop-out RPG adventure for all ages, a fantasy hat photo opp with Christine A. Moore Millinery, and a Pokemon Professor on duty…and more!
The Green will be packed! Build your own mini fishing pole, enjoy facepainting, grow your own “Groot,” make your own picture frame, participate in mindfulness exercises, gross motor activities, and embark on a quest with the Vendor Scavenger Hunt hosted by Home By Midnight Games.
