Warriors survive Mounties late surge for critical league win
LIBERTY — The Canton Warriors survived a late surge from the Mounties to pick up a 56-50 win on Tuesday night.
Canton’s Weston Bellows led all scorers with 25 points on the night.
The win improves the Warriors record to 9-8 while the Mounties drop to 9-8 and fall to third in the NTL small school division as the Warriors leapfrog them in the standings and now sit in second place.
Canton is back in action on Thursday, Feb. 2 when they travel to face Cowanesque while the Mounties will travel to face Sayre.
