Come out this summer for reading, movies, and fun!

The Canton Rialto Theater will host the Summer Cinema Book Squad this summer for students who have finished grades three through six. Students will get to read the classics “The Mouse and the Motorcycle,” “Hatchet,” and “Because of Winn Dixie,” then enjoy the corresponding movies, complete with popcorn, a drink, a bookmark, a trinket, and an activity!

Today, Monday May 22nd, the Rialto will host an informative meeting at 5:00 PM for parents to sign their children up. If you cannot make it this evening, don’t worry. You can stop in to the Rialto and sign up anytime, or call 570-692-0572.

The first movie day will be Tuesday, June 20th, the second will be Tuesday July 18th, and the third and final movie day will be Tuesday August 15th.

The cost is $25 for all three movie events or $10 for an individual event.
