What better way to raise funds for the handicap access project than bringing back the beloved Sock Hop?

The event was last held in 2018, and the long-awaited return has a few changes. Don’t worry; they will still have great fellowship, music, and dancing; however, this year, the event is back where it all began, the Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, Fellowship Hall in Canton.

Unfortunately, they will no longer be offering dinner; however, there will be plenty of snacks and goodies. And don’t forget the delicious old-fashioned sodas the merrymaking Soda Jerks serve up.

The Mission & Evangelism team is proud to continue sponsoring the missions of their beloved church, and this is yet one more step towards making the Fellowship Hall a place everyone can enjoy.

So, dust off your jackets and poodle skirts, and mark your calendar because you won’t want to miss this fun-filled evening of nostalgia. Songs like “The Twist,” “Earth Angel,” and “At the Hop” are sure to make you dance in your seat or on the dance floor, your choice.

Once again, the very talented sock hop band, also known as the “Sock Hoppers,” will offer their musical brilliance.

Advanced purchased tickets will be required and are currently available. Your donation of just $20 per person guarantees you a night you will not forget.
