Troy Opens Season With 20-9 Road Win Over Bald Eagle
The Troy Trojans used two interceptions to down Bald Eagle on the road in week one 20-9.
Two second quarter pick sixes helped them rally for a halftime lead, then a 98-yard scoring run from Charles Oldroyd in the third quarter put them up for good.
It was a defensive battle throughout with Troy racking up four interceptions in the game from Clayton Smith, Justice Chimics, Evan Woodward, and Brendan Gilliland all got interceptions.
The Trojans open the season 1-0 and will face Montoursville at Alparon Park for their home opener on Friday, Sept. 2.
