Troy High School Seniors Perform At Orchestra Festival, Earn First Chair Honors

Troy High School Seniors Jackson Simpson and Elizabeth Geer both performed Friday, January 14th at the PMEA District 8 Orchestra Festival held at Shamokin High School. Both Jackson and Elizabeth earned first chair honors for their respective instruments. Jackson plays the French horn and Elizabeth plays the oboe.

They were featured in multiple solos on the program and even had a duet in one piece!

Both Jackson and Elizabeth will advance to the Central Region Orchestra Festival in February and are eligible to submit auditions for All-State.
