Troy FFA/Troy High School Ag Hold Annual Strawberry and Butter Braid Sale
Troy Area High School agriculture teacher Brooke Ostrander and her students, including those in the FFA program, are very excited about the fundraiser they are currently working on.
They are selling strawberries! Their current prices include ¼ flat for $8,00, ½ flat for $16.00, and 1 flat for $32.00. They are also selling butter braids, strawberry and cream cheese, raspberry, cinnamon, cherry, blueberry, cream cheese, Bavarian crème with chocolate icing, apple, four cheese, and herb, caramel rolls with caramel glaze, and cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing. They are $13.00 each.
Funds raised will support students traveling to compete in events outside the area. The sale runs through February 10.
Hart and 9th grader Landon Jenkins are currently involved in SAE projects at the school. Hart and Landon also both work on their family farms. Hart cuts and sells firewood on the side, and Landon is an entrepreneur running two businesses – including maple syrup production and running a YouTube Channel called PA Young Dairymen. He currently has over 4,000 subscribers.
