Whether performing classical or popular favorites, Terry Barber “breathes new life into everything he sings” and crafts what the Los Angeles Times calls “performances of great vitality and verve.”

This Friday, March 31 at 7:30 p.m. international countertenor Terry Barber will perform “A Tribute to the Best of Broadway” in the Coolidge Theatre at the Deane Center for the Performing Arts at 104 Main Street in Wellsboro.

Barber will sing hits from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s most beloved Broadway musicals as well as from Hamilton and Les Misérables with a special tribute to Freddie Mercury.

With an extraordinarily broad vocal range and natural fluency in many musical styles, Barber has been featured on some of the world’s most storied stages and has worked with many of the music industry’s most prestigious figures.

His voice has appeared on every major record label, with Grammy-winning artists like Madonna, Jewel, Chaka Khan, Cyndi Lauper, Steve Smith, and many more.

The concert is BYOB with audience members encouraged to bring their favorite snacks and beverages and sit at a table with family and friends. For tickets and to reserve a table, call the Deane Center at (570) 724-6220 or visit deanecenter.com. Admission is $30.
