Tioga County Moving to Yellow
PA Governor Tom Wolf announced today that Tioga County would be one of 24 counties moving from the Red to Yellow Phase at 12:01 a.m. on May 8, 2020.
Here is the list of counties moving from red to yellow on May 8th. Bradford, Cameron, Centre, Clarion, Clearfield, Clinton, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Forest, Jefferson, Lawrence, Lycoming, McKean, Mercer, Montour, Northumberland, Potter, Snyder, Sullivan, Tioga, Union, Venango, and Warren. These counties were deemed ready to move to a reopening – or yellow phase – because of low per-capita case counts, the ability to conduct contact tracing and testing, and appropriate population density to contain community spread.
On the broadcast above, Representative Owlett touches on the highlights of today’s statement from Governor Wolf and how it will impact Tioga County residents.
THE TIOGA COUNTY COVID-19 TASK FORCE IS IN THE PROCESS OF EVALUATING GOVERNOR WOLF’S REMARKS AND WILL BE RELEASING A STATEMENT SOON.
