Tioga County hosts Special Olympics
Last Friday, May 31st hundreds of athletes, their families, and supporters gathered on the football field at Mansfield University for the Tioga County Special Olympics.
“This is such a great event, there’s so many people here!” said Tioga County Commissioner Shane Nickerson, who was volunteering at the event. “The community comes together, the weather is perfect…it’s just an awesome event. Look around, this is just what community is.”
