Tioga County 4-H Club Leaders Meet
Though many in our region have heard of 4-H, and may have even been involved with the club, not everyone sees those behind the scene, the hardworking community members who make the projects and programs possible: the club leaders.
In Tioga County 4-H offers everything from sewing to shooting sports, animal science to babysitting and everything in-between. On top of the many project areas, they also host and attend a wide variety of county, regional, state and national events.
Last Saturday, November 19 The Home Page Network was invited by Taylor Lead, Tioga County 4H Educator to meet the club leaders. A small breakfast was provided before the meeting and introductions began. Awards were given to all for their years of service. Each leader introduced themselves and the club they lead.
If you or someone you know is interested in joining 4-H, anyone from 8 to 18 is welcome! You can contact the Tioga County Extension Office at 118 Main Street Wellsboro, call (570) 433-8942 or visit extension.psu.edu.
