Music…at a water park?

From April 19th to April 22nd, three Canton students participated in the PMEA All State Festival at the Kalahari Resort in the Poconos. Isaac Fleury and Taran Bellows participated in All State Vocal Jazz and Samantha Morgan participated in the All State Mixed Choir.

Morgan’s choir director, Dr. Amanda Quist, shared a few quotes with the choir often. They were as follows:
“The shortest pencil is better than the longest memory.”

“There are two rules in life: work hard and be nice.”

Fleury states, “I was really excited to be able to meet our conductor and the other members of our ensemble since I knew it was going to be a smaller crowd I knew that we were going to be able to bond better instead of having to swim through an ocean of two hundred people.”
