Thousands Gather For Second Annual Wellsboro Comic Con
WELLSBORO – On Saturday, August 12 and Sunday, August 13 the second annual Wellsboro Comic Con took place.
Thousands of attendees gathered in Wellsboro and wandered around the various con locations, including the Green, the Deane Center for Performing Arts, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, the Warehouse Theater, Green Free Library, and Gmeiner Art & Cultural Center.
At these venues, attendees enjoyed hearing from artists, writers and other industry professionals during Q&A sessions. Vendors and artists sold their wares and services. Non-profits also provided a selection of activities for kids and families.
Many comic-con goers donned their capes and costumes for a stroll around town and cosplay contest.
Home By Midnight Games organized a special scavenger hunt that had attendees visiting vendors across the con to fulfill “quests.” Once completed, each guest was entered into a drawing to win prizes.
