“The Hunt’s” purpose is to explore the many facets of hunting and to discuss some tips and secrets that Russ Manney has learned during his fifty-seven years in the field. This knowledge has accumulated from personal experiences, information passed to him by over three generations of hunters, and knowledge gained by the successes and failures he has experienced during his life as a hunting conservationist.

His goal is to promote the hunting experience to challenge the experienced hunter with new ideas and methods to improve his or her outdoor quest. While at the same time, it will recruit new hunters into this vital tool for the conservation of our natural resources.

In this episodes, Russ teaches how crucial scent control is during the hunting process by showing the necessary steps in clothing, hygiene, and preparation.
