The Canton Classic Car Show

by Andrew Moore - August 16, 2022

The Canton Classic Car Show took place on Friday, August 12 in downtown Canton.

Over 40 unique cars were on display, from restored classics to American muscle.

Event organizer Dean Vanderpool was present with his own vehicle, an unusual orange Volkswagen Thing.

“We’ve had it about three years. My like it because there’s no other ones around,” said Vanderpool.

Father and son Cody and Fred Richter were showing their own rides, including a 1999 Shelby edition Dodge Durango.

“It’s rare, they only made about 300 of them,” said Cody.
