Thank You Dunhams
Dunham’s has been serving the area since 1905, and a lot has changed since then, but John Dunham has said over the years that the store’s philosophy has remained the same – our family serving your family. John peacefully passed away at home in 2021 so the Dunham family heritage continues to live on through his family.
Dunham’s is one of the last independently owned department stores in the US. That is a fact that makes us proud to have this store in town so others can experience the fun of a department store. The store offers men’s, women’s, and women’s sportswear/coats, juniors’ and kids’ clothing, accessories, and shoes. When you buy clothes from Dunham’s, they are classically timeless. And you’ll be able to wear them year after year.
If you get hungry while shopping at Dunham’s, stop at their cafe 1905 to get a bite. It will be easy to remember the cafe’s name; it was the year Dunham’s started.
John and Nancy Dunham bought the store in 2000 from his brother Jim, with Ann Dunham Rawson joining the family team.
When my husband John and I showed John and Nancy the vision for the Home Page Network over ten years ago, they encouraged us to go forward with our vision.
For the past ten years, the Dunham family has faithfully been part of our family of advertisers on the Home Page Network. They support us so we can bring you the positive community stories we strive to cover.
We have often partnered with them on many broadcasts to support their mission of providing excellent products and services.
Last October I had been looking for my dressy jacket that I had purchased at Dunham’s to wear to an anniversary celebration, and I could not find it! Ann Dunham Rawson sent me a message with a picture of the jacket that week, saying it was missing me! I had forgotten and left it in drycleaning for a long time! ( a few years) No wonder I could not remember where it was! I gladly picked it up and wore it the following weekend. Thanks Ann!
Once again, the philosophy remains the same – their family serving your family!
At the end of the broadcast, Ann Dunham Rawson reminds us that There’s More In Store At Dunham’s.
