MANSFIELD, PA — Summer camp at the YMCA is what many of our community kids call summer!

The YMCA recently thanked their sponsors who make all the programs possible, including the summer camp, with a pizza lunch. Programs supported by sponsors include lifting class, soccer, after school programs as well as the summer day camp. Through annual fundraising, the sponsors money also allows for free scholarships for many attendees.

Chelsea , child care director, works with all programs involving kids. She has very busy days during the summer camp. Anywhere between 36 to 40 kids attend daily from 6:45 in the morning until 6:00 in the evening.

Three of the kids took a minute to visit and we learned that Layla likes swimming, Kali liked her field trip to Hills Creek, and for Jack swimming and diving off the diving board are the most fun!
