Subs Support Hometown Heroes
Don’t feel like cooking tonight? Want to support our local fire department? Try a delicious Firehouse sub!
Firehouse Subs is a nationwide franchise restaurant that was founded by firemen in 1994. Their mission is: “To carry on our commitment to, and passion for, hearty and flavorful food, heartfelt service, and public safety.” They repeatedly provide life-saving equipment, training, and support to first responders. Oh, and they have delicious subs!
The Ithaca branch of Firehouse Subs has had their food truck here in Wellsboro for the week of August 24th-28th as a fundraiser for the Wellsboro Fire Department. Each day, the truck is open from 11am-7pm and is parked at the Fire Annex (21 East Avenue, Wellsboro, PA). The subs are $10 each and can be purchased using either cash or card. In addition to subs, they have chips, drinks, and side dishes such as macaroni and cheese. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Wellsboro Fire Department.
Available sub options are:
