Strohecker Vision Care To Host Kids Day
On Saturday, August 29th, Strohecker Vision Care in Mansfield will be hosting their 3rd Annual Kids Day.
“We’ve done this a few years in a row and it’s a great way for kids and their families to familiar themselves with our office and what we do here,” said optometrist Lindsay Kibler.
The event will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday and continue until 3:30 p.m. At the door, attendees will be given a treasure map as a guide to all the different activity stations around the facility. Children and their families will have the opportunity to win prizes, enjoy food, and more! Kids of all ages are welcome.
Attending children are also encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed animal.
“They’ll see Dr. Strohecker or myself,” said Kibler. “And we’ll check the stuffed animal’s eyes and go through the process of what’s involved in our exam. That way, when it’s time for them to get their own eyes checked, they won’t be as nervous and know what to expect.”
The event will be upholding the same safety and health precautions that Strohecker Vision Care adheres to on a regular basis, including checking temperatures at the door requiring masks.
