STATE TROOPER GIVES CANTON HIGH SCHOOL DRIVING SAFETY TIPS
As excitement mounts for the upcoming prom weekend, Canton High School’s junior and senior students received a critical lesson in safe driving on Monday morning. State Trooper William Evans took center stage to deliver a compelling presentation on safe driving, emphasizing the importance of responsible behavior behind the wheel.
Organized by the Canton Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) program in collaboration with the Northern Tier Regional Planning and Development Commission, the assembly aimed to equip students with the knowledge and awareness necessary to make sound decisions during this celebratory time.
Prom night should be a memorable and joyous occasion for everyone involved. But it’s crucial to remember that safety should always be the number one priority. From designated drivers to utilizing ride-share services, students are encouraged to plan ahead and make responsible choices to ensure their well-being and that of their peers.
