Wellsboro has a new business – “Mattress by Appointment,” located in the Wellsboro Plaza (90 Plaza Lane Wellsboro, PA 16901). Mattress by Appointment is a franchise, located in 433 retail locations in 48 states. These locations offer great deals, often 50-80% below retail store chains. Top brands are featured, including Serta, Beautyrest, Simmons, and Sealy.

The Wellsboro location offers a full line of mattresses, from Twin-King, with a wide selection of around 50 at a time for you to choose from. Currently, they’re offering a special – $25 off king mattresses. And, from now until February 22nd, you can receive special financing options.

Owners Diana and David VanLoon have spent the last 23 years living in Tioga County, where they raised their 10 children. This area has become a special place for them over the years, leading them to open this new business.

“We’ve thought about opening a business for a long time, and two years ago, our oldest daughter and her husband opened a Mattress by Appointment store in North Carolina,” said David. “From a distance, we got to watch how it was run, and we felt like it could be a good business for us to have in Tioga County.”
