See You at the Pole, 2016

Youth are invited to gather for breakfast and prayer for our schools

by Johanna Vogt - September 23, 2016

“See You at the Pole” began in 1990 when ten students gathered together at their school’s flag pole in prayer for their school and nation. Twenty-six years later, millions of students all over the country are gathering at their schools and campuses to pray for their family, friends, nation, and specifically their schools.

This Wednesday, September 28th, Wellsboro High School and Rock L. Butler Middle School (along with many other schools in Tioga County), will be gathering together for a morning in prayer. High school students will be meeting at the flag pole in front of Wellsboro High School at 7:00 AM, and middle school students will be meeting at the flag pole at Rock L. Butler Middle School at 7:00 AM as well. All students from 5th-12th grade are welcome to come, whether you’re homeschooled, private schooled, or public schooled. A free breakfast will be held at the Teen Center in Wellsboro at around 7:20 AM.

If you would like to find out more information about what SYATP is, click here. We encourage all of the youth in Tioga County to come out and be at this incredible event. It’s truly an experience you don’t want to miss. We’ll see you at the pole!
