Rotary hosts Candidates’ Forum
On Tuesday, April 24 – the Rotary Club of Wellsboro hosted a forum for three of the candidates running for State Representative of the 68th Legislative District.
The event took place at the Deane Center in Wellsboro. Coordinator for Rotary, Jim Tutak opened the forum, and the candidates were introduced: Republican candidate Dennis Weaver, Republican candidate Clint Owlett, and Democratic candidate Carrie Heath. Questions from the community were presented by moderator Phil Waber, and each candidate was given 3 minutes to respond. Home Page cameras were there to highlight a few of the questions.
