Remembering Those Who Gave All

by Andrew Moore - May 26, 2020

On Monday, May 25, a limited-attendance Memorial Day service was held at the Wellsboro Cemetery. The observances began with a procession from the Green down main street, escorted by the Wellsboro Police Department and Wellsboro Fire Department. The procession gathered at the cemetery where Master of Ceremonies VFW Post 4907 Adjutant Frank Yungwirth opened the service.

Chaplain of VFW Post 4907, also Sandra Herrera spoke and followed with a prayer and held the benediction.

The service concluded with a reading of Psalm 16 by veteran Henry Cook.

Home Page would like to thank all of our servicemen and women for their sacrifice and we encourage you to remember those who have given their lives for our freedom – not just on Memorial Day, but every day.
