On Tuesday, March 26, participants in the 2024 Raise the Region fundraising event gathered at the Deane Center for the Performing Arts to enjoy a “wrap up” banquet, organized by Hometown County KC101 to celebrate this year’s success.

This year, local 501c3 nonprofits raised over $112,000 during the campaign to benefit the services they provide to our region.

“We feel that the volunteers of these organizations don’t get enough recognition,” said Jess Sandstrom, of KC101. “The ability to be able to raise $112,000 in 30 hours needs to be recognized. So we just wanted to say thank you and give them the recognition for being able to do that.”

In addition to a catered dinner, attending nonprofits also received a number of awards in recognition of their efforts.
