Protect Your Family When You Need It Most

Protect Your Family When You Need It Most

by Blossburg Firemen's Ambulance Assoc. / Tonya McNamara - February 10, 2022

Did you know the cost of an average ambulance bill is $1500?

If you have insurance, they may cover $600 of that cost, leaving the ambulance company with a loss of $900 that will be billed to you if you are transported to a medical facility if you are NOT a member of the Blossburg Firemen’s Ambulance Association.

For more than 70 years, Blossburg Firemen’s Ambulance Association has been responding to the call for help in Blossburg, Covington, Morris Run, Arnot, Liberty and surrounding areas.

Families have saved thousands of dollars just by joining every year.

Memberships provide the major source of funding of the organization so they can continue to deliver the best possible care to families in need.
One new ambulance alone can easily cost $200,000 – every dollar that comes in makes a big difference.

Each Membership includes unlimited use of Emergency Basic Life Support (BLS) Transportation to the nearest appropriate medical facility and, members will not be responsible for any outstanding co-pays or deductibles not paid by health insurance or emergency medical services provided by the Blossburg Firemen’s Ambulance Association.

Membership Rates range from $40 for a senior aged individual to $125 to cover those visiting seasonal cabins.

Additional donations are always welcome.

Remember, this membership does not cover non-emergency transports or transportation beyond the closest appropriate facility or Advanced Life Support (ALS) services.

For more information contact the Blossburg Firemen’s Ambulance Association, PO Box 2, Blossburg PA 16912, call 570-638-3366 or email blossburgems@gmail.com.
