Personal Profiles: An Editor Story

by Andrew Moore - July 22, 2021

Meet Ethan Chabala. Ethan began his career as a videographer and video editor at The Home Page Network in August of 2017. He was born and raised in Mansfield, Pennsylvania and discovered a passion for filmmaking at a young age. He went on to study at Kutztown University where he received a bachelor’s degree in electronic media.

Over his career at the Home Page Network, Ethan has helped produce over one-thousand videos and oversees the shooting and editing of the daily newscasts. Upon reflecting on his work experience, he offered advice to anyone interested in pursuing video production.

“I think my advice would be to keep practicing and keep pursuing, expanding your knowledge,” said Ethan Chabala. “If it’s something you really love and you really want to pursue it, watch movies or educational videos and just keep practicing. Even if it’s just making your own videos on a YouTube channel, even just for yourself or with friends. Putting yourself out there and listening to what others have to say, even if it’s criticism.”

The Home Page Network is proud to recognize Ethan for his outstanding work.
