Parking Kiosks In Wellsboro

Chief Bodine explains new, flexible parking system

by Lauren Gooch - November 6, 2019

Pay Kiosks offer a cheaper, more convenient way to park in Wellsboro for an extended amount of time. Simply enter your license plate number and either quarters or a credit card in the kiosks. For your convenience, you are free to come and go throughout the duration of your selected time. Whereas other parking meters require one quarter for one hour, these pay kiosks only cost one quarter for two hours.

The first lot location is in the Pearl Street Lot, and the second location is near Water Street, close to C&N Bank. The lots are monitored Monday-Saturday from 9am-5pm. If you need to arrive earlier than 9am, you are welcome to park and pay the kiosk when you arrive, and the machine will begin keeping track of your time at 9am.

For added convenience, download the Pango app on your smartphone. It allows you to pay directly through the app for any parking in the borough, including meters. The app even works in other locations, such as Williamsport. One advantage of using the app is that it counts down the amount of time you have remaining and sends you a reminder when your time is up.
