NCA Welcomes New Headmaster

Introducing Mr. Kjell Fenn

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: August 2, 2019 : New Covenant Academy in Mansfield, PA is welcoming a new Headmaster to the school, starting this August 2019. Mr. Kjell Fenn will be joining the academy as Headmaster for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. Mr. Fenn and his family will be moving from Honduras where he currently is the Superintendent of the International School of Tegucigalpa. Mr. Fenn’s career in education spans 25 years. He has enjoyed being a language arts teacher, curriculum coordinator, director of curriculum and assessment, and superintendent. He also served as an Adjunct Faculty member at Nyack College for an online graduate course.

Mr. Fenn has authored the book Engage: Motivational Strategies for a Dynamic Classroom. He is currently a doctoral candidate at Liberty University in the Educational Leadership program. He holds two master’s degrees, one in human behavior and the other in education. Mr. Fenn is married to Marcy and has four children. Mr. Fenn’s oldest daughter just graduated from Calvin College with a degree in Elementary Education. His other two daughters are at Messiah College and Houghton College. His son will joining NCA as a 9th grader.

The New Covenant Academy board, staff and faculty are happy to welcome Mr. Fenn to the school this summer and fall. We invite families of New Covenant Academy to meet Mr. Fenn at our Back to School Bash on Thursday night, August 22nd, at 6:30pm.
