Mason Nelson: All-State Football Player, Offensive Line
Mason Nelson spent time on the varsity football field since his freshman year. He was a force on both sides of the ball as Canton football set the bar high for future generations. Behind him and his fellow lineman Canton was able to rush for 63 touchdowns on the season and made the state semi finals for the second year in a row.
Mason also had a successful wrestling season this year. He earned a spot in the PIAA state final bracket at heavyweight by placing second in the Northeast Regional tournament.
Recently Mason sat down with Craig Route from Coaches Corner to discuss his time as a high school athlete and also talk about his future plans. Watch the video to get the details.
