On Saturday, April 15th, The Mansfield Free Public Library held an open house from 2pm to 4pm. The event was held to showcase new screens and technologies now at the library. Attendees were also provided with refreshments and a tour of the library.

Jennifer Nawri, Board President of the Library, said of the event, “It is really kind of a celebration. A time to highlight the library.” Nawri wanted to also thank the library friends group among others for their support . “I think this has been a great collaboration between the friends and the board. The friends have done a lot of work choosing the date and setting up the event. The board has also assisted with the same kind of things, organizing things, advertising. It’s really kind of a team effort so I want to thank both the board and the friends group today.”
