Mansfield Home Page is a new media publication. It’s loaded with timely news and information from around the world with a special emphasis on things that impact Mansfield, PA. Home Page is a digital publication that combines internet television, digital print media, online photography and electronic graphics to provide our viewers with the best local online news and information service possible. From breaking news and information to each day’s feature stories – it’s all right here on Mansfield Home Page.
We publish Mansfield Home Page in the convenience of a “homepage” format. This means that many of the online services that you use everyday are right here in one place. You can view today’s feature story, check the latest weather, news, and sports, both locally and around the world. CHAMBER HIGHLIGHTS WITH DAWN HULL
The Mansfield Chamber of Commerce works behind the scenes on behalf of our local businesses. Their goal is to provide support and opportunity to Mansfield merchants, as well as, further the economic growth and vitality of the Mansfield area.

Dawn Hull, the Chamber’s Executive Director, explained some of the regular activity that the Chamber of Commerce is involved in. Some of the duties include product shipments, committee planning, partnership with the University, annual and special events, and so much more. The Mansfield Chamber partners with the local business community consistently and effectively.

In addition, the Chamber helps to plan and execute some of your favorite Mansfield events and programs! The July 4th Celebration, 1890’s Day, Youth Leaders of Tomorrow, Hometown Heroes, and Home for the Holidays, just to name a few.

MU FACES WEST CHESTER DOULBE HEADER
Tianna Jackson led four Mountaineers in double digits with 17 points, scoring 12 in the second half alone. Mary Kate Rumbaugh recorded her second double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Brielle Kelly hit double-figure scoring for the 10th time this season with 12 points and also added seven rebounds. Bella Ricci came off the bench to score 11 points.

Matt Tamanosky scored 11 of his career-high 31 points in overtime to lead Mansfield to a 106-102 PSAC win over West Chester in double-overtime Tuesday evening on First Citizens Community Bank Court in Decker Gymnasium.

The win was the first for the Mountaineers over West Chester since Tony Fannick hit a 3-pointer with one second remaining in a 53-50 win during the 2009-10 season snapping a 12-game losing-skid to the Golden Rams.

SPIRIT OF WOMEN – HALF OF ALL WOMEN
Spirit of Women’s first event in Tioga County for 2017 will be held on January 19th at the Medical Plaza in Mansfield, PA. On today’s broadcast Home Page correspondent Sara Vogt met with Spirit of Women’s outreach coordinator Tonya Welshans and physical therapist Barbara Rouse at the event location to find out the details for the event.

Tonya stressed that this special evening will be both informative and fun. This gathering is for women of all ages starting at childbearing years to postmenopausal. The event begins at 5:30 PM with a tour of the new facility while enjoying delicious hors d’oeuvres! Next on the schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM UMPC/Susquehanna Health’s Women’s Health Specialists Barbara Rouse, PT and Brooke Patt, PT will be presenting a talk titled, ‘Half of All Women.’ Statistics show that 50% of all women do not talk to their physicians about the health of their pelvic floor.

TIGERS CLAIM BERGUSON TROPHY
Tigers. Hornets. A rivalry game unrivaled by any other in District IV that plays out over the course of 32 minutes, but comes down to the final seconds.

Thursday night’s game was no different.

Wellsboro hosted North Penn-Mansfield in the third annual Margaret (Peg) Berguson Memorial Trophy game, with the Tigers coming home victorious in a 62-59 NTL Large School Division win.
