This past Friday and Saturday, Manley Bohlayer Farm hosted the second annual children’s book giveaway in memory of Derek Bellows. The event allowed guests to take home free books, listen to story time, look at crafts, antiques, and other items available at various vendor.

The Creamery at Fairview Farm was set up to sell ice cream as well as many other food vendors for locals to try. Thank you to everyone who came out to support your local businesses.

Cindy Dewey, Cathy Golder, Ruth Morse, and Dana Vermilya read to families throughout the day. Golder was also amongst the vendors, promoting upcoming fall activities at the Green Free Library and gave her thoughts on the day.

“The thing I’m enjoying most is all the kids,” says Golder. “Just spending time together, and the weather is beautiful today!”
