Local Business Lights Up For Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Husband and wife team Jeff and Cheryl Furrows are working together to promote Breast Cancer awareness.
Cheryl’s mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 1993 and passed away because of the progression of the disease. Cheryl has come to a place of healing since her mom’s death, but she feels the loss deeply. Instead of dreading or fearing mammograms, she willingly goes to check her breast health. At this time, she encourages us to be proactive about our breast health with regular screenings.
Jeff and Cheryl, who own Wellsboro Automotive in Wellsboro, is spotlighting breast cancer awareness by lighting up the front of their business with a pink hue which allows them to support their passion for wellness for those struggling with cancer and bring attention to the disease. They have also joined Technet with their Brakes for Breasts promotion, and their slogan is Help Put the Brakes on Breast Cancer. Give or get up to $40 with a qualifying purchase and installation of qualifying brake pads from a participating TechNet Professional Automotive Service provider. When you choose to give, your donation will benefit the Brakes for Breasts organization and the Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Vaccine Research Fund.
Please visit the following links for more information on the Brakes for Breasts promotion at Wellsboro Automotive or call them at 570 – 724 – 4500.
