Home Page alumna Jillian Graver decided to take a gap year from Harvard, and she is spending that time working with Covid Act Now.

Covid Act Now (CAN) is an independent, non-profit organization that shares COVID data and information for 50 states, 380+ metro areas, and 3,000+ counties in the United States.

Home Page Vice President Sara Vogt caught up with Jillian, as well as founders from each team that now combines into Covid Act Now –Max Henderson (Co-Founder, Covid Act Now), Emily Oster (Co-Founder, Covid Explained), Ryan Panchadsaram (Co-Founder, Covid Exit Strategy), and Spencer Lyon (Co-Founder, Valorum Data)– to learn more about CAN’s mission and how their teams came together to make a difference during this time.

CAN is dedicated to making COVID data and information accessible and understandable to everyone, regardless of ability or prior knowledge. This is made possible by the joining of diverse expertise and working together toward a shared goal.

On the Covid Act Now website, people can find data for their communities, compare them to other areas, read educational content about COVID-related topics, and more. CAN also offers email alerts, where people can sign up to receive emails when notable COVID changes occur in the locations they care about.
