On Part Two of introducing our Laurel Festival Queen candidates, we introduce Miss Troy Gabrielle Lathrop and Miss Canton Camille McRoberts. Both women are candidates for the 2023 Laurel Festival Queen coronation to be held in Wellsboro, PA on Saturday, June 17.

Miss Troy Gabrielle Lathrop is honored to represent her class and her community. She is excited to attend this event to meet the other candidates and experience some of the live music events that the festival has to offer. Her future plans are to pursue a major in the realm of English, as she has formed a love for the subject after taking AP courses related to the topic over the past year.

Miss Canton Camille McRoberts is excited for the Laurel Festival for a chance to meet new people and try the delicious food that they have to offer—specifically the crab cakes. She is honored to represent Canton as she was chosen by her class to attend this event. Her future plans are to attend Juniata College to major in environmental science.
