Highlights from the juried arts & craft fair and parade!

by Home Page Staff - June 17, 2019

June 8 through June 15, Tioga County celebrated the 78th Annual Pennsylvania State Laurel Festival in Wellsboro, PA. As one of the county’s biggest events of the year, thousands of attendees bustled about town – enjoying the many activities, sights, sounds and treats of the festival.

Today’s feature highlights some of the attendees, vendors ,and people showcasing their skills and wares during the Juried Arts & Crafts Fair on Saturday, June 15. Locals and out-of-towners alike displayed their goods on The Green in Wellsboro, from delicious foods to breathtaking art – there’s something for everyone at this open air market.

Saturday afternoon also feature the annual parade, including everything from music performances to floats of all sizes carrying beautiful queens and community members. Fortunately, the weather on Saturday was perfect for all the outdoor happenings.

Be sure to join us again tomorrow (June 18) for Part 2 of our Laurel Festival coverage, featuring results and interviews from the Laurel Queen coronation.
